Me and my family did the facility tour and not only was the experience amazing but so we’re the staff. The process they go through to make such high quality products for us is fantastic. The manager and our tour guide were extremely welcoming and made sure we had a great time during our visit. The coffee and bakery treats were delicious and i can’t wait to brew some of my own.

We toured this facility with family. Nice place and great views of the pacific from elevated location. Tour itself was not bad. Our guide's name was Grace. She was very enthusiastic in showing around and explaining coffee making process. Free samples and gift shops are not too bad. We wish we could see the actual coffee making units rather than static display machines and videos. None the less, worth your time and money in visiting this place.

Stood in line for 20 minutes to buy a coffee and the broad at the register just closes and leaves as soon as we get to the front. Service is slow. We were second in line. 20 minutes. Then she just closes and leaves without a word. Edit to respond to owner response. I can understand staffing issues. That's not a problem. It's the fact that we stood in line for 20 minutes, and that "we will be closed from x - x" sign was posted nowhere. Not once at any time while in line did they stop to say "hey we're closing at this time" or "this is the last customer due to scheduled tours". Just *boom( book over the register and walks away as soon as we get up to the register. She could have let us know at any time while in line and we would have simply just left as we understand short-staffing is an issue.

What I enjoy about this place, Never rushed! Awesome Coffee!!! I visit every time I am on this Island. I love dark roasted beans. His dark roast is smooth, the way I like it. Joe and his wife, plus the staff are friendly, willing to talk as much time as you like too, ask your questions and understand your questions with their response so you better understand this product they offer, Coffee Coffee Coffee! I took the roast your own coffee after talking with Joe, Great conversation, he paired me Kiley, she is extremely knowledgeable about what is offered. She explained how I should roast the beans I chose based on my preference of taste. I like his Estate Trellis Reserve 100% Kona. I did my best to replicate this taste. I even roasted my beans a few minutes longer. What an experience!!! Returning again in 2024.

The only thing great about this place is the view location location the coffee is pretty much 7-Eleven quality my girl actually poured out her coffee on the ground. I think it was like one of those cold brew things garbage and I only drink real coffee anyways yeah, the only thing good about it is the view, the older female has an attitude. The younger one is nice yeah I don’t know I don’t know how they sell it at Neiman Marcus that’s what they claim. I like my coffee strong and it was basically not even 7-Eleven. I think 7-Eleven is better I would say donut shop coffee anyways that’s my opinion. I went to an amazing place today and I’m trying to remember the name of it. I’ll try to get back it was amazing. The breakfast was amazing. I believe it was Java lava. Something like that anyways, take it for what you will.

Kona Joe has a fantastic view of the coast. We paid for $154 for tour and coffee roasting (one roaster and one observer). Paid tour included a view of trees around the parking lot, but not Kona Joe beans for roasting… that was a $20 up-charge. Tour did not have any passion for their craft and the Kona bean up-charge was obnoxious.

Tour was easy to book online. Tour was laid back, yet thorough. Video room was sparse. Ample parking, but steep stairs to get into building. Gift shop had limited, but high quality items- including coffee beans. Brewed coffee options onsite were not comparable to what is expected in a coffee shop. Roasting experience was fun. Bathrooms were clean.
